Independence Day

Divine Light International School, Sirhind celebrated Independence Day with great zeal and patriotic fervor. The program commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony by Ms. Priya Arora (Secretary-cum-Treasurer) and Principal Dr. Babita Chopra, followed by the National Anthem.

The students showcased their love for the nation through a variety of cultural performances. A special dance performance on the theme “Operation Sidoor” and patriotic songs created an atmosphere filled with pride and reverence for the freedom fighters.

Adding to the celebrations, our tiny tots actively participated in a fancy dress competition portraying national heroes, as well as a sandwich-making activity based on the tricolour theme of the Tiranga. Their enthusiasm and creativity brought extra charm to the event.

The day was a beautiful reminder of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and the responsibility we carry as citizens of a free nation. The entire school community came together to celebrate this momentous day, making it a truly memorable occasion.
